Shades of Sin

After the two sides od Ana,
The next soap on my list is shades of sin.

I don’t likes soaps that are sad,but of late i find my self glued to them.

I must say i like it’s graphics, and the actors are so mean… and they look so stupid to believe every thing they hear….
Well those are soaps.

I did not start it from the start … and i keep on wondering, “Where does it get it’s title?”
I have a problem with it.

Overview of Shades of Sin

Twin brothers are separated in childhood and they grow up without knowing about each other. As adults, they suffer an accident in the same place, at the same time. One disappears in the ocean and the other decides to assume his identity. Years later, as he finds out he has a son and that the woman he loves did not cheat on him, he decides to reclaim his true identity.

    hey guys i realy luv preta and paco and jomana but i realy hate babra and tonny. can u imagine they killed Dodo and they are pretending? Kaki should also talk everything to afonso so that Otavio is saved from the lies of babra and tonny. I know tonny doesnt like otavio he is just waiting for afonsos wealth babra should also take care otherwise that marriage was a lie.

    the babalinyos are realy boaring and their tesinia she makes me sick.

    Otherwise i luv Ray he will be a man and phillipe should get off preta he might make her lose her chances of getting paco back.

    guys i’ve hooked the story

    paco eventually marries babra to revenge for her trying to kill him, jomana marries afonso, tony kills afonso (accidentally – he intended to kill paco), barbra kills tony and then kills herself, then paco makes a very wonderful wedding with preda then it ends – but it might end in 2012 if ubc and itv are kind enough to continue broadcasting it in Uganda.

    I love this soap so much since i saw it via ITV daima.Tz. I love every character in this soap. Preta and Paco they show as how real love is. Alfonso is showing us how the worth people are, Mamushka she is trying to send good massage to viewer so hard to understand….Halinyo… wow he is in love but has to fight the Spirit to win.Jumana I think she will succeed to to put together Alfonso family.     All characters in this soap are great!!!! Pacco get to know that, real love is blind, means if you love someone dearly you need to show her that u trust her no matter what. You lacked this in the first place. you even abandoned preta when she needed you the most and pretended to be dead. Pacco you are mean and I hate you for that .
    Fillipe you are deadly handsome in the first place. You showed your fellow men that trust is part and parcel of true love. You stood by Preta’s when almost every body didn’t trust her. You provided the shoulder for her to lean and cry on. I wish that were your real self, Preta deserves some one like you who can love her unconditionally. If preta doesn’t see this then she is crazy.     But why is a person considered black when he is 50% (one parent) black and 50% (another parent) white? Is being black more human than being white? I’m more like Preta’s son so I’ve always wondered why the whole world think this way.

    The soap is so nice.     Hi guys, I am Brazilian and I accompanied Shades Of Sin when he started for the first time here in Brazil in 2004, for the second time in 2007, and now just the third display between 2012 and 2013. This novel is already the best produced in Brazil, always hit record ratings, is a beautiful story between an interracial couple. I love Paco & Black. Believe it or not, most also love Barbara! Brazil are Saul.

    So very glad that I found your website, as this is my favorite novela of all time. The title comes from “sins” committed, no matter what a person’s “skin color” and how ‘the lead characters’ were able to overcome, in spite of it. I’ve learned to look for the “deeper meanings” behind these novelas, and this one and ‘Cordel Encantado’ (along with certain characters in ‘Senhora Do Destino’) helped in a lot of ways. I can now understand why the Brazilian novelas have won so many awards.
    P.S. I now wait for and hope to see the “follow up” to Da Cor Do Pecado, with the ‘grown up’ Rai (Brazil’s first biracial billionaire) and Barbara’s son Octavio, along with Alfonso’s ‘name sake. What a story that would be.
